Confession and Communion are the two sacraments we most often partake of as Orthodox Christians and thus it behooves us to learn about these, how to prepare for these, and how to best take advantage of the Grace that our Lord freely gives us in these sacraments. Young men, mature men, all men! Being a man in today’s world is a challenge. Being a Christian man is an even greater challenge! Join us for a meal and fellowship at Fr. Gregory’s on Sunday, October 27 at 6:00 p.m. No agenda, except for our mature men to mentor our young men, and our young men to inspire our mature men. If we support each other the body of Christ is strengthened and everyone wins, including Christian women, who need strong Christian men (just as Christian men need strong Christian women).

The next STV Mother’s Group meeting is Sunday, October 20 at 6:00 p.m. at Fr. Colin’s house. Fr. Colin’s wife Katherine is leading and organizing the group and you should contact her for more information and to RSVP: info@stvladimiraami.org. This little block of time on Sunday night is a GREAT time for dads to spend quality time with their children so that moms can have a few hours to interact with other moms.

Our next meeting is October 6! The Youth Group is for all our young people 9 years old and older. We divide the groups into appropriate age groups (9-12, Teen, Young Adult). ALL are strongly encouraged to participate!

We present here a short educational offering for both children and adults on the upcoming Sunday's principle Gospel reading so that all can better prepare for the Divine Services. Parents are asked to review the children’s portion with their children. It is very important for us to attend the Divine Services on Sundays and whenever else we are able, but in addition it is our spiritual responsibility to educate ourselves and our families in the faith. It is our hope that this mid-week offering will be an aid in this regard. Please contact Fr. Gregory with questions or suggestions.
