Please keep our parishioners, friends, and those who have asked us in our unworthiness to pray for them in your prayers this coming week. Our parish prayer list can be found here:

PARISH PRAYER LIST

PLEASE NOTE! We have removed those from the list that we believe no longer should be present there. If you requested that someone be included in this list please review it carefully to make sure we have not removed someone erroneously. If we have, please contact Fr. Gregory to have your loved one again added to the list.

WE HAVE WORKDAYS! As promised – we have the opportunity for you – yes YOU – to help out with the barn project. That is, to help your parish family so that we are ready to worship in the barn on Sunday morning. This week the work days will be after work on Wednesday afternoon/evening, and after the Liturgy on Saturday (starting about 11:00 a.m.). Please join us! Your support will make it possible for us to worship in the barn safely this Sunday!

Weekly Educational Offering - Prepare for the Coming Sunday!
14/10/20, 06:00 AM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

We present here a short educational offering for both children and adults on the upcoming Sunday's principle Gospel reading so that all can better prepare for the Divine Services. Parents are asked to review the children’s portion with their children. It is very important for us to attend the Divine Services on Sundays and whenever else we are able, but in addition it is our spiritual responsibility to educate ourselves and our families in the faith. It is our hope that this mid-week offering will be an aid in this regard. Please contact Fr. Gregory with questions or suggestions.

For Adults: from the writings of Blessed Theophylact

For Children: from the Antiochian Archdiocese (various age groups)

At 6:00 p.m. we will have our usual akathist to the Mother of God for the Ill, but this week we will read the akathist for the Protection of the Mother of God. Please join us as your personal schedule allows! Since we will be inside the church for this service, we ask you to sign up in advance:

Worshiping in the Barn – Work Day Thank You, Pictures, and Fund Raiser!
12/10/20, 06:00 PM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday to help with the HUGE amount of work that we accomplished emptying the barn and preparing for the new cement floor to be poured in the near future.

WHY ARE WE CEMENTING THE BARN FLOOR? Because we need a place to worship as a parish family for the rest of the pandemic. Meeting outside is not going to be practical very soon, and meeting in the church proper is WAY TOO SMALL with physical distancing requirements!

See the pictures from Saturday’s work day here – thank you Natasha Joyce:

Make a donation to help cover the cost of the cement floor here:

HELP US CREATE WINTER WORSHIP SPACE!

Of course, you are welcome to use Tithe.ly or PayPal or any other method to donate – you can find options on our parish Donate page:

ST. VLADIMIR DONATE PAGE

Our corporate worship is the MOST IMPORTANT THING we do as a parish family. We hope that everyone can make a donation to help offset the cost of the floor. Every little bit helps! Participate in this family project with your TIME (more work days are coming), TREASURE (visit the link above), or TALENT (more work days are coming)! May the Lord reward you in this life and the next for your care for His Church!

The first renunciation is that of material things, the second that of the passions, the third that of ignorance.
