Our Parish Council met on Thursday evening, November 8. Bottom line: we have not been doing a very good job of providing guidance to our parishioners about the spiritual obligation of financial stewardship. About 1/3 of the Lord’s parables touched this subject – yet we have not touched it comprehensively for years. And that is not fair to our parishioners. So we will begin to touch this subject a bit more actively. This is a spiritual issue – not a financial one. And this is the way we will approach it. No pressure – but education. We begin here.
