Our Michigan Deanery sister parish, St. Herman of Alaska in Lake Odessa, MI, is hosting the St. Herman's Youth Retreat this year! The retreat begins on December 27 and runs through December 31. Since our parish is the closest to Detroit Metro Airport, we have been asked to help facilitate transportation to and from the conference for those who will be flying in. Please contact Fr. Gregory if you can help! Most of this work will be done on December 27 and December 31. Thank you in advance for your support!

Weekly Educational Offering
14/12/16, 06:00 AM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

We present here a short educational offering for both children and adults. Parents are asked to review the children’s portion with their children. It is very important for us to attend the Divine Services on Sundays and whenever else we are able, but in addition it is our spiritual responsibility to educate ourselves and our families in the faith. It is our hope that this mid-week offering will be an aid in this regard. Please contact Fr. Gregory with questions or suggestions.

Bake Sale is December 17!
8/12/16, 06:00 PM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

After our festival, our Christmas Bake Sale is probably our greatest outreach to the community. Let there be no mistake – this is also a fund raiser. So , just like the festival, this can be a missionary activity that also supports our parish. So let’s all join together and make this the BEST BAKE SALE EVER! First, spread the word – share this flyer with everyone you know and everyone you don’t:

http://stvladimiraami.org/flyers/bakesale2016.pdf

Get our Facebook event on your Facebook page – find that on our St. Vladimir Facebook page and share it!

Bake until you drop! Then take a breath, get up, and do it again! :) Contact our Head Sister, Leta Nikulshina, to let her know what you plan to bake so she can manage the overall event and make sure we don’t all make the same cookies. :) Her email is headsister@stvladimiraami.org and her cell number is 734-272-3826. Reach out to her today!
