PLEASE NOTE! We have removed those from the list that we believe no longer should be present there. If you requested that someone be included in this list please review it carefully to make sure we have not removed someone erroneously. If we have, please contact Fr. Weekly Finance Table
25/10/18, 06:00 PM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

Want to know how to set up a recurring donation to the parish? Have a question about parish expenses? Want to talk about how to establish a tithe for your family? Like to arrange for a cemetery plot for you and your family? Have any other questions about finances and our spiritual responsibility in this regard? Every Sunday we have a table set up at the parish meal with one of our Parish Council finance team members manning it. You’ll be able to ask questions and get help in this regard. We may not know the answer to every question you ask, but if we don’t we’ll find out and get back to you. Please plan to visit the finance team table at lunch every Sunday!

At the 2009 Assembly of the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, delegates proposed the founding of a fellowship of stewards in order to strengthen our common life and ministry as a diocese. The initiative was blessed by Bishop (now Archbishop) Peter and given the heavenly patronage of St. John Kochurov.

Society members are committed to building up and supporting our Diocesan...

“Keep careful watch, to ensure that the enemy does not make off with any who are off guard or remiss; and that no heretic may pervert part of what you have been given. Accepting the faith is like putting into the bank the money we have given you; God will ask you for an account of this deposit.”

Stewardship Education Communication Q2-2018

Posted by Fr. Gregory

At the Parish Council meeting on March 11, 2017 a Stewardship Education Team was appointed by the Parish Council consisting of Fr. Gregory, Jack (Alexey) Mitchel, and Leta (Ksenia) Nikulshina. The charge of this team is to provide our parish family with educational information about stewardship. In this regard, we intend to send out an email and post on our parish web site a quarterly communication.

Please find the quarterly communication at the link below. Please note that we will have a question and answer period during the parish meal on Sunday, October 28, 2018 to allow for questions in an open forum. However, please feel free to contact any of us, or any of the Parish Council members, with questions at any time. Or, if you prefer, use the second link below to ask a question or make a comment anonymously.

We thank you sincerely for your generous support of our parish! And we look forward to hearing from you at your convenience regarding this information.

Nativity Ball Planning Time – we Need a Committee Chair
16/10/18, 06:00 AM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

This year marks the 20th anniversary of our Nativity Ball! Our Head Sister, Leta Nikulshina, has been chair of the Ball Committee for 10 years! And she just can’t do it this year. We need someone to step up and lead. Yes – you! Not someone else – you! Leta will not disappear – she will be there to help. In the early years of the ball it was common for someone to lead the committee for year or two and then hand it off to a new chair. We’d like to get back to that cadence. Grab a friend or two and join us – it will be fun! Email info@stvladimiraami.org to volunteer today!
