Today in Moscow Archpriest Sergei Vishnevsky reposed in the Lord at age 91. He had four sons, all of whom are priests themselves. And one of them is Fr. Pavel Vishnevky, who has been instrumental in our Russia with Love efforts. We ask that you remember the newly-reposed Fr. Yes – this year this feast falls on MARCH 21. It is true that the commemoration of the Martyrs is March 22, but when March 22 is the middle Wednesday of Great Lent (as it is this year), the commemoration of the Cross moves the feast of the Martyrs to March 21. The funeral for Stephen Lohman will be at St. Vladimir’s at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. All who are able to attend are invited to do so. Those who cannot are asked to remember the servant of God Stephen in your prayers – especially during these 40 days. His 40th day is April 10/23 – Thomas Sunday.

Our Brother in Christ Stephen Lohman reposed in the Lord this afternoon during the Divine Services - at about 5:00 p.m. Yesterday Stephen was able to partake of Holy Communion, to confess his sins, and to participate in the Mystery of Unction. More firm details will be published soon, but it seems likely that the funeral will be on Friday afternoon. Once final arrangements are made they will be published via, on our home page, and on our Facebook page. In the mean time, please keep the newly-reposed Stephen in your prayers, as well as his widow Nadezhda.

Houses will be blessed through the fifth week of Great Lent.

We present here a short educational offering for both children and adults. Parents are asked to review the children’s portion with their children. It is very important for us to attend the Divine Services on Sundays and whenever else we are able, but in addition it is our spiritual responsibility to educate ourselves and our families in the faith. It is our hope that this mid-week offering will be an aid in this regard. Please contact Fr. Gregory with questions or suggestions.

The March ORPR camper meeting will be held on Sunday, March 19 - NOT this Sunday as previously advertised. The gathering will be a Varka (soup making) competition. ORPR campers and future campers are welcome! The meeting will be held at our home in Saline. If you don't know where that is please send me a note.

The deployment of the generator was temporarily unsuccessful. However, the generator will be ready tomorrow at 10 a.m. Thus, there will be no Liturgy tomorrow morning. However, the usual Saturday afternoon and Sunday schedule will hold.
